The founder members of Pakistan Christian Congress, who are not in this world now but rendered services for the Christian cause by organising rallies, press conferences, hunger strikes and lawsuits against discriminatory laws are the precious assets of our history.
The senior Vice-president of PCC, central council, resident of Nasri Colony, Karachi, was a well known Christian leader of Pakistan. He was always on the front line of PCC to court arrests and hunger strikes. He passed away of heart attack in 1994.
Shakeel Rehmat Bhatti.
The press and information secretary of PCC, central council and founder member of PCC. He was born at Sialkot, Punjab, and was a major leader of PCC. He was a famous christian leader and respected among general public. The establishment of PCC was kept alive under government oppression due to his services and sacrifices. He passed away in 1995.
Salim Masih Khokhar.
The Vice-president of PCC central council, from Karachi. He was the most dedicated leader of PCC, who was always very active in struggles launched by PCC against the government and was arrested on many rallies organized under his leadership. He was the spokesman of PCC on all stages. He died of a heart attack in 1995.
